Kitchens for holiday homes in Mallorca: practical, durable and designed to enjoy

In Mallorca, many homes are used as second residences or holiday houses, especially in areas such as Sóller, Fornalutx, Deià or Valldemossa. That’s why, when we design a kitchen for this type of home, we always aim for it to be beautiful, practical and easy to maintain.

In my studio, specialised in bespoke kitchen design in Mallorca, we take into account some key aspects to ensure the kitchen works well for many years.

Durable and easy-to-maintain materials
A holiday home usually has more movement: visits from friends and family, or periods when the house remains closed. That’s why it’s important to choose durable and easy-to-clean materials.

In many projects, we use resistant laminated doors, porcelain countertops and high-quality appliances that withstand use well and require little maintenance.

Comfortable and easy-to-use layouts
In these kitchens, it’s common for different people to cook, so the layout must be clear and intuitive. We focus on spacious countertops, drawers where everything is easy to see, and well-organised storage areas.

Open-plan kitchens
In many holiday homes in Mallorca, the kitchen is open to the living or dining area, creating more spacious and bright environments. In these cases, we work with clean lines, natural materials and integrated appliances so the kitchen blends seamlessly with the rest of the home.

From my studio in Sóller, we design, manufacture and install bespoke kitchens in Mallorca, adapting each project to the space and lifestyle of each client.

The goal is always the same: to create beautiful, functional kitchens designed to be enjoyed for many years.
