Bespoke TV Furniture: Combining Natural Oak and Rattan for a Functional and Harmonious Design
In this project, we have designed and manufactured a bespoke TV cabinet, which not only meets the functional needs of the client, but also blends in perfectly with the natural and warm aesthetics of their home.
Design and Materials:
- Natural Oak: The furniture is made of natural oak wood, a material that brings warmth, durability and a touch of timeless elegance. The choice of oak not only highlights the beauty of the wood, but also aligns with the use of natural materials in the rest of the house, creating a visual and aesthetic continuity.
- Rattan front: The front of the unit is covered in rattan, a natural material that not only complements the oak, but also allows the remote control signals to pass through, making the unit as practical as it is beautiful. This detail maintains harmony with the natural elements of the home, while offering a functional technical solution without compromising on design.
This TV cabinet has been carefully designed to balance functionality and aesthetics. The use of rattan on the front allows the electronics hidden inside to remain operable without the need to open doors or panels, providing a seamless user experience. In addition, the bespoke design ensures that the furniture fits perfectly into the available space, optimising both storage and the arrangement of audio-visual elements.
