{"id":5975,"date":"2026-09-10T10:45:50","date_gmt":"2026-09-10T08:45:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ainavalles.com\/aina-valles-en-on-livet-pa-mallorca-disenar-hogares-que-funcionan\/"},"modified":"2026-09-10T10:55:32","modified_gmt":"2026-09-10T08:55:32","slug":"aina-valles-en-on-livet-pa-mallorca-disenar-hogares-que-funcionan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ainavalles.com\/en\/aina-valles-en-on-livet-pa-mallorca-disenar-hogares-que-funcionan\/","title":{"rendered":"Aina Vall\u00e9s in \u00d6n, Livet p\u00e5 Mallorca: designing homes that work"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We&#8217;re delighted to share our feature in <strong>\u00d6n, Livet p\u00e5 Mallorca<\/strong>, where we talk about one of the ideas that best defines the way we work: <strong>good design doesn&#8217;t start with the furniture, but with the person who will use it<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Designing around the way you live<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before designing a kitchen, wardrobe or any piece of bespoke furniture, we need to understand how the space is actually used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Where you leave things when you come home, what you need to have close at hand, how you cook, what you need to store and what you&#8217;d prefer to keep out of sight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These small everyday details are what ultimately define a good project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That&#8217;s why, for us, <strong>bespoke design means adapting the furniture to the person, rather than the person to the furniture<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Furniture designed for each home<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Mallorca, this way of working makes even more sense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Many homes in <strong>S\u00f3ller and the Serra de Tramuntana<\/strong> have irregular walls, unusual layouts, sloping ceilings or spaces where a standard solution simply doesn&#8217;t work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bespoke furniture allows us to make the most of these particular features and turn them into part of the design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A kitchen where everything has its place. A wardrobe designed specifically for what you need to store. A laundry room that makes use of every centimetre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>When everything has its place, a sense of calm follows<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We design both the exterior and the interior of our furniture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Because for us, it&#8217;s not enough for a piece of furniture to look beautiful. It should help you stay organised and make everyday life at home easier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When everything finds its place and the furniture responds naturally to our routines, the whole space changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It feels more organised, calmer and easier to live in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As we shared in the feature:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The best design isn&#8217;t always seen.
